The Traditional Method

Making Champagne and Sparkling wine is a really complicated process - more complicated than making regular wine. The grapes for Champagne like for the climate to be cool, with just enough sun. Also to make Champagne, you have to take 3 major steps:

  • Make still (non-sparkling) wines
  • Blend various still wines together.
  • Make Champagne from the blend of still wines.
Just like anything great, it takes time!
