For sparkling wine lovers, novice and enthusiast alike, we can all appreciate champagne's crisp and refreshing profile. I'm sure for many of us, uncorking a chilled bottle, pouring a steep glass, and kicking our feet up is the preferred method of relaxation, but why stop there? Enjoying a classic glass of champagne you don't need to compromise your love of sparkling wines for an icy vacation in a glass.
To get your frosé on, all you need is:
- 187ml bottle Nicolas Feuillatte rosé
- 1/8 cup sugar
- 2 ounces strawberries, hulled, quartered (can swap for watermelon)
- 3/4 ounces fresh lemon juice
- To start, pour your Nicolas Feuillatte rosé into a large pan and freeze overnight.
- Next, in a medium pot, add sugar to a half cup of boiling water. When your sugar has completely dissolved, cut the heat and add your hulled and quartered strawberries. Let the mixture rest for half an hour and then strain out the strawberries into a bowl
- After, transfer your frozen rosé from the pan into a blender, add lemon juice and 3.5 ounces of your strawberry syrup, and don't forget a cup of crushed ice.
- Then, blend together, add ice as needed, and you’re ready to enjoy!
